The monkeys got lost
chasing bumblebees
when they were supposed
to be fishing.
Now they’ve all starved.
So don’t you
lay your evil
down on me.
It wasn’t until I heard
the cemetery bell
did I notice the deer
watching me from
behind their graves.
Such a beautiful sight
in the midst of such a
hilarious tragedy.
