***

This one is a poem from the second half of my new book, Death & Love/Love & Death, a tête-bêche book that is double-sided and can be read front to back by flipping it upside-down.

Lovers in Death

i don’t want to fall in love

i want to fall in death

with you

take it to the stars

push it to the limit

rules were made to be broken

we can climb the roses

and paint them black

magick happens here

among lovers in death

faces facing the sky

in tune

in time

laughing hearts

in rotting colors

darkness becomes light
